As of this writing (11/8/2023), details of the gas-powered 2024 Kia Sorento refresh haven’t been released yet, but the pricing trim levels and specs of the PHEV version were announced early this morning. Since the two models generally share the same trim levels, features, and aesthetics, the team here at Kia of Lynchburg expects the new Sorento to sport an updated front fascia that is more in line with the EV9, Tron-like future-focused design. The mid-cycle update will likely bring changes to the rear end and interior features as well.
2024 Sorento Exterior
Based on photos sourced from the Korean market in late July, buyers can expect the front end of the 2024 model to feature a larger grille framed by L-shaped LED light strips. The rear of the SUV will likely feature updated taillights, as well as new wheel designs. The 2024 PHEV model features seven paint color options, including Platinum Graphite, Runway Red, Gravity Blue, and four others. However, since the 2023 models differed greatly in color options, the gas-powered model will likely have a different selection.

The 2024 Sorento will likely carry the same powertrain options:

For the 2023 model year, both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and we don’t expect that to change for 2024.
