The Hybrid model has a new trim called the SX-P trim. It has 17-inch wheels, standard all-wheel drive, and leather seats. The PHEV's SX-P trim also adds a retractable rear-door sunshade and a 115-volt inverter.

The Kia Sorento has three generations of vehicles dating back to the 2003 model year. The Sorento was released in 2003 as a larger version of the Sportage.
